First of all it is mandatory to lock choices when taking any competitive exam if this is not being done your answers will be blank and knowledge and information you are having will be irrelevant
So locking choices is mandatory
It implies for all the examinations all over India including WBJEE
You didn't locked your choices so that was bound to happen and their are no alternatives to this
So now take some practice tests and from next time onwards do not repeat this
As the proverb says :- failures are the steps towards success so keep learning keep growing

You got the write answer and don't worry if you did not get any seat in first round of WBJEE counselling. See if you have arranged your choices and did not locked that so it will be automatically locked after the deadline and cut-off differs every year depending upon various factors so if you did not get seat in first round then don't worry there are still two rounds left and also there might be the reason that you have not filled your college  preferences wisely and carefully so you should wait for allotment of second round .

You will surely get seat in any of the college if you have filled you choice correctly and wisely.
