I forgot to mention my category and applied as general in IIT-HSEE Chennai. So,what should I do?

Dear Eklavya,
These mistakes are commonly done by most of the people one who fills the application form in hurry.
You can do two things to get rid of this,
- If you haven't paid the amount and completed your registration process, then it would be every easier to change your category in the application.
- Incase if you have paid and completed your registration process with the wrong information then you have to register again with the correct details. Before that make sure your wrongly submitted application is rejected by the organiser so that you can register with the same mail id.
To ensure that your wrongly submitted application is rejected kindly write an email ti the organiser stating that you need to register again due to the above mentioned problem.
