It is absolutely possible to opt for B.A. English after a gap of 2 years from 12th. If you are below 24 years of age, then you are eligible to apply for B.A. The minimum duration for B.A. English is three years.
The basic qualification required by a person to join the graduation course is a pass in 12th standard from a recognized board. The applicant must score at least 50% of marks at a 12th standard level to get admission to Graduation course. Since you have an excellent 83%, there shouldnt be any problem at all!
