Based on previous trends, scoring 28-30 marks in JEE Main typically results in a percentile of around 65-70. However, the exact percentile can vary depending on the difficulty of the exam. For tougher sessions, such as the one you experienced, your percentile might be slightly higher. You can use tools like the JEE Main Percentile Calculator for a more accurate estimate.

With a score of 28-30 marks in JEE Mains 2025 (23rd Jan Shift 1), your expected percentile may be quite low, likely below 50, depending on overall difficulty and normalization. Since this shift was considered tough, percentile fluctuations may occur. Check official analysis and percentile calculators for a better estimate.

45-50% .

just to keep in mind that these are expected results the actual results depend upon the following criteria ;-

Hello Shlok,

If you scored 28-30 marks in JEE Mains 2025 (Shift 1 on 23rd Jan), and considering that many found the exam to be difficult, your expected percentile could be in the range of 50-60 .

The percentile can vary based on the overall difficulty level of the paper and how well other students perform. However, 28-30 marks typically place a student in a lower percentile range, but it's still dependent on the normalization process used by NTA.

To get a more accurate percentile, we need to wait for the official result and normalization process. Keep in mind that even with a lower score, there may still be opportunities in certain categories or with further exams.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
