i get 148 marks in12th PCB group and i am in obc categry can i get mbbs admission

Hi

Admission in MBBS is not on the basis of marks obtained by you in 12th but is through Neet examination

Neet eligibility  criteria says that, to be eligible  one must have passed in English and in both the theory and practical  of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination  if belong to general category , or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st


Now, you belong to obc category


Your aggregate in PCB is

= 148

=(148/300*100 )%

= 49.3 %  i. e more than 40% , so being from obc category  you fulfil above aforesaid % requirement and thus you are eligible for neet examination
