Based on previous year cut-off, to attain a BDS seat in a government dental college, a candidate is required to score a minimum of 450 marks in NEET. A minimum of 50th percentile under general category for those who seek admissions in private dental colleges is a requirement. If you belong to reserved category then you may have a chance for a government seat the SC/ST/OBC cut-off score was 146-113, but if you belong to a general category then you have to look for private colleges for bds seat.
Under 15% all india quota, you need to score more than 480 marks in neet to get BDS seat. As you have got 440 marks so you might have a chance for getting the seat in government college.
