Hey there!

Well it is not possible to tell that which exactly colleges you will get or not, as admission to any institutes depends on various factors like:

1- Difficulty level of examination

2- No. of seat available in institutes

3- Category of an individual

4- Closing rank which is decided by authority.

and many more, but we can get a rough idea of closing rank of programs by analyzing previous years trends.

----With 52 marks your general percentile and rank would be around 78-80 and 226185 - 254265 respectively, as per our JEE mains rank predictor tool

and your category rank would be anywhere in between 10000 to 12000.

------- and as per previous years data the maximum closing rank for SC category for CSE program at NITs is around 4000.

You can also check previous years closing rank of CSE at NITs, link is given below

Considering this data, you have low chances for getting CSE in NIT

However if you belong to any of these NITs state, with home state quota you have some chances for getting CSE in home state NITs

NITs                                      SC category Home state closing rank for JEE 2020 (CSE)

  • NIT Meghalaya                           42574
  • NIT Agartala                                12079
  • NIT Puducherry                          15449

Hello,

Actually, getting any NIT or branch at NIT appears to be difficult. However, it all relies on your category rank. Securing a 50+ score in JEE Main will give you a respectable position in your category (52 in your case).

I believe admission to any NIT or branch at NIT is doable. Each category has a certain number of seats in NIT. And if you are in the top ranks category-wise, I'm confident that you can get into NIT, even in a decent branch.
