Hello dear,

Since you have more than 50 % marks so you are eligible for NEET.

But for AIIMS 60 % marks are minimum criteria for general category and for SC / ST / OBC  it's 50 % so if you are from SC / ST / OBC categories then you are eligible for AIIMS too.

Hi Harish Chandra,

As answered by many expert on your query, It clear your path to NEET as you are fully eligible to attempt the NEET.

But but but you need to work a little bit harder and smarter in order to get a good medical college for MBBS..

Some GOLDEN tips for the preparation of NEET

  • Firstly, gather all the details about the officially prescribed syllabus for the examination.
  • Make a proper time-table for your preparations.
  • Follow the time table strictly and increase your potential day by day.
  • Consider the good preparation books and study materials.
  • Practice mock test & previous year question papers.
  • Make mistakes while practising, and correct them and never repeat them.
  • Never give up even at your low time.
  • Stay stress free & healthy while preparing for exams.
  • Don’t try to include new topics at the end of preparations.

All the Best.

According to guidelines for Neet examination you must have got 50% in your Board examinations individually in physics chemistry and Biology in the general category and around 10% less for the reserved categories.

Forums this also requires you to pass with 60% and above in physics chemistry biology and English individually and in overall aggregate if you are in general category and 50% for the reserved categories.

To from this info I think you can make out whether you are eligible .hope it helps thank you

If you look at the eligibility criteria in terms of marks for different categories for NEET-UG, it is

50% aggregate FOR GENERAL CATEGORY in PCB and English in class 12 boards. For OBC/SC/ST CATEGORY it is 40% and for PWD CATEGORY it is 45%.

For AIIMS-UG entrance examination, it is

60% AGGREGATE for GENERAL/OBC CATEGORY in PCB and English in class 12 boards. For SC/ST CATEGORY it is 50%.

Hope this helps.
