I am extremely sorry to inform you that, it is not possible to land up in IIT or NIT colleges with this percentage. A candidate must have 75% in class 12 or qualifying exam in order to get admission in IITs or NITs. The eligibility criteria for SC or ST and pwd candidate is 65%.

Hi Rohit,
For getting CSE branch your rank should be around upto 2000-3000. And you should be able to clear the NIT,IIT 20 percentile cut off marks then you will get into NIT,IIT. You will find top 20 percentile cut off marks in JOSAA official website. If you want to go for NIT,IIT for other branch then you can get it. There is also branch changes in some NIT and IIT after first year but you have to see the seat available for that branch or not and your CGPA should be above 8.5 and you should be in top 3 from your class. But they also see your JEE score. I hope you get the branch, apply for both JOSAA and CSAB because many seats of the branches which are not filled in JOSAA are filled up in CSAB.
