For admission into IITs, you need to appear for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced and qualify in both the exams. Also you need to score a good rank to secure an admission.
For admission into NITs,IIITs and GFTIs, you need to appear for JEE Mains. The cutoff for admission varies for various branches and institutions.
For admission in above Institutes , there is no other way of admission.
You can go for admission into some private engineering colleges in India which conduct their own entrance exams and these exams are very easy and based on class 11 and 12 syllabus. As you have scored well in your 12 you can easily crack those exams and score good marks. Most of the private engineering colleges offer fees concession for students based on entrance exams and class 12 marks. You might get some good fees concession.

You cannot take admission in iit and nit without jee . iit and nit only want 75% or top 20 percentile in your board exam . for nit you have to give jee mains exam and secure a good rank and for iit you have to appear for jee mains and then jee advance exam .
