i get very hard to solve functions sums ??? if not able to solve whr will i stuck in future chapters?

Functions is a very fundamental topic in Mathematics. It lays foundation for several topics including those of calculus and inverse trigonometry. I would suggest you to try your best in understanding the chapter. From competitive exams point of view, functions is a very important chapter even on it's own, and can really help you get good marks.
