Hello
If you are unable to give the improvement exam for one of the subjects , the mark sheet you receive will only reflect the improved marks for the subjects you appeared in .
For the subject in which you did not attempt the improvement , the original marks from your previous mark sheet will be considered. The improvement mark sheet will combine both new (improved) marks and the existing ones for any subject not reattempted .

Thank you
If you failed to give one CBSE improvement exam your previous marks will be considered As you are already passed in that particular subject that is why you are giving improvement exam , but if somehow you failed in other subject of improvement exam then your old marks will be considered there too.
So the conclusion is if you do not did better than what have scored in previous in your improvement exam then your board exam so your board exam will be kept as the main marks for your percentage calculation in the marksheet while if you have done better in your improvement exams in the board exam then that improved marks will be kept in the place of board exam.
GOOD LUCK!!
Thanks hope it help!!!.......
Hello,
If you are appearing for the improvement exam in 2025 for two subjects but can't appear for one, then in the improvement marksheet, marks will appear only for the subject (s) for which you have appeared. Your attempt for that particular subject in which you did not give an exam would not get printed in your improvement mark sheet. However, you continue to use the earlier obtained marks in that subject along with its marksheet only.
The improvement mark sheet issued by CBSE is a mark sheet that only reflects the improvement or reappearance of the subjects. The marks in the unattempted subjects in the improvement exam are considered as final and used for all purposes, including aggregate calculation.
This ensures that your previous performance in the unattempted subject is not affected and is valid. Retain your original mark sheet along with the improvement mark sheet for reference.
