Dear kaushik
As you have got 100989 rank in jee rank I jee mains and 29000 OBC rank, I would like you to know that in OBC rank is not used in DAIICT only SC/ST rank is considered. As for your rank, your rank is way too high to get DAIICT anyhow. The cutoff for DAIICT is around 12k at max. So I would recommend that you try for some other college
Hello aspirant,
See Firstly I will tell you a reality that DAIICT doesn't have any type of other quota or homestate quota , it's just solely on your JEE rank.
Now the second reality, there is no OBC quota in DAIICT, they have general and SC/ST. So for DAIICT counseling, you are a part of General category.
And now coming to the point of marks, I was having 206/360 and rank of 7399 in JEE mains and I got into the course of ICT with min. CS (hons). So if you are planning for that course than try to get your score more than 210 in JEE Mains.
And I know one of my friend who had 185, who got in DAIICT in the ICT course. Rank was around 12k. So if you are planning to get into this than keep your score to be around 195, so you don't have any risk while counselling process.
In short if you want to end up at DAIICT than get your marks more than 190 so to avoid any type of risks.
Hope you liked the answer. Feel free to ask if you have any questions :)
