Since your preparatory rank is 1080 in SC category , you may get a chance in IITs but can't say for sure. As per the previous years cutoff trends you may get an IIT but it is tough to say in which branch you will get . I have listed some of the IITs with their previous year cutoff for SC category -
- IIT BHU : Ceramic - 2245 , Chemical - 1431 , Civil - 1168 , CS - 246 , Electrical - 782 , Mechanical -962, Metallurgy - 1880
- IIT Patna : Chemical - 1700 , Civil - 1511 , Electrical - 1393 , Mechanical - 2587
- IIT Bhubaneswar : Civil - 1284 , Electrical - 1029 , Mechanical - 1080 , Metallurgy - 1932
- IIT Indore : Civil - 1242 , Mechanical - 1022 , Electrical - 884
