can i change branch in first year like in nit and iit students do ?

You can change you branch in 2nd year as studies in first year are same for all. To change your branch you need more than 8.5 cgpa in 1st year and you need to be in top 10% in you batch

I dont think you can get any branch with that rank because even first rank student in comdek coudnt able to get EC branch in RV college during 2011–12. So its highly difficult to get seat with your rank but give a try.
