Hello Manoj, The best NIT suitable for you would be the one in your home state. But I doubt that you would get any NIT at this rank because the cutoffs are much lower. I would suggest you first apply to your home state NIT to avail the home state quota and then try for some of the low NITs like NIT Goa, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Agartala, and others.

Don't be confused about counselling process. If you want CSE then under general category you can get institutes like NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Raipur, IIIT Gwalior etc. If you prefer college over branch you can take metallurgy in NIT Trichy also.
