If you really think you can score better if you're given another chance, there's no harm in taking a break.

But you should be determined enough for that.

You must know what would possibly go wrong.

Also, if you're repeating a year... Your target shouldn't be just VITEEE. Study for JEE Main, your state CET and BITSAT too. That'll be more beneficial. Viteee can be prepared parallely.



If you don't want to take a complete break and continue with whatever college you get and complete first year BTech, you'll have to pay the complete one year fees of the College which could be very expensive if you're continuing in a private college like VIT.



So make a wise decision.
