Since you have mentioned about the exam i will let you know about the most obvious one that is JEE MAINS-:

| 70 - 75 | 280 - 295 | 99 percentile - 100 percentile |
| 60 - 69 | 200 - 280 | 95 percentile - 98.99 percentile |
| 50 - 59 | 120 - 199 | 90 - 94.99 percentile |
| 40 - 49 | 85 - 119 | 86 - 89 percentile |
According to last year marks vs rank scenario, the rank for 120 marks will be around 1 lakh .
This rank may slightly change owing to the differences in the difficulty level of the question papers of 2019 and 2020.
