To be honest  12K rank is actually a good rank in KCET but not good enough to secure a seat in top college like RV Engineering college. RV college is one of the top most engineering college in Karnataka which accepts admission through KCET.

RV college always has high cut-off for computer science branches. The cut-off is always closed around 1k-1.5k for General category. With good caste reservation also you have very low chances to get this college.

MSRIT also been a very good college and this college cut-off also doesn't exceeds 2k- 3k. With good caste reservation also you have very low chances to get this college.
