i got 138 marks in cmat 2020.. can i get admission in a avg college?

In that score your percentile would be around 64-65 percentile and in that percentile you won't get any good college. I would suggest you to prepare for one more year and give the exam again.
College you will get in that score will be:-
1-PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
2-SCMS, Cochin.
3-SDMIMD, Mysore.
4-Jaipuria, Noida.
5-NDIM, Delhi.
6-Apeejay Dwarka.
7-XISS, Ranchi.
You may get these colleges according to your CMAT score.
