First of all let me congratulate you for having under the radar of approx 1k,.since you are from the General Category and have written the Gate under the domain of Civil Engineering where the recent year cuttoff is approx to 28 and based upon your fetched rank you have the lesser chances to get into the 6 older IITs but yaah based upon the variation in the cuttoff you can be able to get the get the IITs like BHU, Patna, Gandhinagar etc. As well you have the brighter chances to tale the older NIT premises like Warangal, Bhopal, Trichy etc.
