If you are from general category then it will be difficult to get a government college. However, if you are from Other Backward Classes or from any other category you might have a chance to get a seat in one of these colleges. It will still be difficult to get any good college like IET lucknow or BIET jhansi. However you can try for other government colleges such as Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped, Kanpur, Regional Engineering College, Bijnor, Regional Engineering College, Mainpuri, Regional Engineering College, Ambedkar Nagar, Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Allahabad, Chattrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University,Kanpur . You can have a good chance of getting admission into these colleges especially if you belong to some category. You can also try for Information Technology branch in these colleges. Also if you prefer Computer Science over any other branch than you can go for private colleges like Galgotias, Ajay Kumar Garg and JSS Academy of Technical Education which are also good colleges for Computer Science and will help you in pursuing your passion . Also keep trying for other counsellings apart from upsee such as JOSAA and VITEEE which will also provide you with new oppurtunity to pursue the branch of your choice.
