If you're you're getting such a Good NLU, my advice to you would be to not go in SLS pune

Congratulations Tushmi for the rank and college. You got 'Symbiosis Law School, Pune' then you should definitely go there if you are waiting for some other colleges then you can wait. But don't let the date of admission cross otherwise SLS will be gone from your hands and I suppose 90% that Symbiosis Law School starts in July so take care for your admission. Do you want to be in drugs? You want to study in Harvard Law? I say it's drug addicted place. Will you then in the amazing college or not? People say so many things you are the only one who can decide for your good. My so many contacts are pursuing degrees from Punjab. People sya punjab is famous for drugs they haven't even tasted anything related to it and I am also temprorary resident of Punjab there is nothing like that in cities. I even was in Pune also, there is no such thing. Let's suppose if there is all like that then it would be your presence of mind to judge good or bad or if your parents don't allow ypu to be there then you are the only one to convince them for your good. If there are such things as you mentioned then you better don't get involved. Everyone say everything just for no cause most of the times but you better go with the right choice. Of course there are placements, and it is valued for money. There are always two kinds of people, with skillset and without it. With knowledge if you have the skillset and ability then you can be placed in a very valuable firm. Anyway there are placements and you will not regret it later.

Considering your rank you don't seem to have a chance of getting an NLU if you belong to the general category as the cut off in the previous years were pretty high. You can try in the vacancies. But prefer SLS, pune over the lower tier NLUs and it is definitely better in many aspects.
