Just refer the engineering cutoff of last year from KEA website and get an idea, But w.r.t colleges inside Bangalore there is no limit, for Top ranked and for top courses for general merit, any ranking upto 5000 is preferred, but for general colleges in Bangalore even upto 30,000 rank for general merit is ok. But do note, just by doing plain BE course in any or even in reputed college alone will not make your career good, you will have to improve your biodata, by adding some more extra skills related to your professional course, by attending outside college also some more professional short term courses. Then only you can make it well in your career...
