Congratulations for your success in VITEEE. As per the mentioned rank by you the chances of you getting an ECE seat at Vellore in second category or at Chennai campus is intermediate. The past trends suggest that cut-off for ECE under second category in Vellore campus is around 15k and around 13k in Chennai under first category.

You will easily get a seat in category 2 at Chennai campus as cutoffs for the second category goes around 22k-24k. You can also get ECE with some specializations at Vellore campus under second category.

I would like to inform you that the closing rank of VIT Vellore for ECE branch was 14,500 , it means that you have very high chances of getting ECE branch in 2nd category at Vellore campus.
Meanwhile the closing rank for ECE at Chennai campus was 25,000 . It clearly means that you will surely get ECE branch at Chennai in the 1st category.
Also, not to forget the cut offs are subjected to change a bit every year.
