Hello
I wish you had told me your rank and your category rank. However I would try to suggest on the basis of previous year statistics which might vary this year as the paper was reported to be realtively easier.
According to previous year records you might have got a good government college with a score of even 180 but since the paper was easier this year the cutoff is expected to increase by 15 marks give or take which makes it slightly difficult for yoy. If i was in your place I would have applied for counselling. It is sure that you will get a decent government bds college with your marks under your category.
I would like you to try our college predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor for a clearer idea. All the best.
Hi, Nitai.
Neet is an all India common entrance examination for the admissions into the both government and private colleges for undergraduate courses for the medical aspirants.
It would have been helpful if you had given us your category to answer your question better
The minimum marks required for a student of your category in a government college in westbengal is more than 350 in many colleges for first counselling, but you can also get into the top colleges in second and third counselling.
For the state quota, the minimum marks required for a state quota student is also more than 300.
As you didn't get the required marks, you might not be able to get into the colleges.
Please check the link below for the more accurate information about the colleges
