I got 186 cutoff marks. Is there any chance for getting into SSN's management quota in ECE department?
Hey,
Considering you as a General-UR candidate (as you don't have mentioned your category in this question) I would like to inform you that it's quite difficult for you to get admission in your desirable stream, ECE in this eminent college with this marks. Because according to the cut-off information in the last round of TNEA counselling 2019, you had to secure atleast 195 marks or manage yourself among top 1865 candidates to grab a seat in Electronics and Communication department in your preferable college even in Management quota where your marks is quite lesser than that.
Though the cut-off details vary each year depending upon several important determining factors like:
- Number of appeared canditates
- Number of successful candidates
- Total number of available seats in each and every college
- Top score and difficulty level of the examination
Still as per our assumption and experience I can comment that it'll be better if you leave the hope of ECE and go for Civil, Mechanical and Biotechnology departments (because your marks is genuinely suitable for these departments of this college in Management quota). Hope these information will be quite helpful for you. Wish you all the best.
