Well congratulations first of all,
Actually it depends on what kind of hostel you join like government or private and there are few schemes which actually provide the scholarship for students and hence government pays the fee of the things you applied during scholarship application . So just go to website of ap scholarship and you will know more information about the scholarship.
Thank you

Hello srichetan,

If you submit the required documents in the counseling process like income certificate or white ration. There is no need to pay academic fee but you need to pay for hostel fee.

Note: In the income certificate your father income should be less than 2-3 lakh only.

I hope it helps you.
