But Sadly, I want to tell you that it's very tough to get seat in Data Science and Engineering in IIT Mandi with this much rank.

Now if your interest is particularly in data science and engineering and you want IIT Mandi, then yes there is a chance that you can get IIT Mandi with your SC category rank but you can only get if you are a female SC candidate .

The last year cutoff rank for data science and engineering branch for IIT Mandi for SC category candidates was :-

Female - 1930

And for other students the cutoff was on much lower rank.

But still apart from Data science and engineering you can get many other good branches in other iits too.
