Hello Samiksha,
I would like to tell you that the percentage and percentile are two different things.
While percentage can be calculated using the marks you scored and the total marks, the same is n0t with percentile.
The percentile is calculated with the help of your marks, the number of students who appeared for the exam and the number of students who have less/more marks than you.
So this is very hard and calculating percentile is not possible until you have all the required info.
Hope this helps and all the very best to you!
Hello Samiksha, CMAT percentile is calculated on the basis of rank of the student vs the number of students who appeared in CMAT. For this, the formula given below is applied:
Percentile P = 100 x Number of candidates appeared in the examination with raw marks equal to or less than the candidate/Total number of candidates appeared
For example, suppose 10,000 candidates appeared in the CMAT exam. And candidate A has got No.1 Rank. His CMAT percentile score will be: 100 x 9999/10,000= 99.99
So basically, you will also have to know your rank for the calculation of percentile. You can refer the below link to calculate your percentile- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZmOocidFxU
Hope this helps, Good Luck!
