Seat allotment depends on cut off rank and cut off rank depends on total number of seats available in that particular branch, number of candidates applied, normalized marks etc. We cannot predict the cut off now, it can be known only after the counselling. It is difficult to get seat in VIT, Vellore with such rank if you belong to general category but if you belong to any reserved category then you might have chances of getting seat in ECE by anticipation.

Yes , You can definately get admission in VIT Vellore campus for ECE branch . to pursue your higher studies in the field of your  interest under b tech courses as it is a private institution and the seats are filled until they are full.
