I got 24.33 marks in gate 2022. During the registration of gate 2022, I selected GEN category. But now I have EWS, can I have a valid gate score since cut-off marks for EWS is 22.5??? GEN - 25 EWS - 22.5

I hope that you are doing absolutely great.

With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that since you have selected as a GENERAL Category during the time of GATE Registration, then inspite of having a EWS Certificate you'll be considered as the GENERAL Category Student.

Since you have mentioned that you have got 24.33 Gate Score in 2022, and the qualifying Cutoff for GENERAL category students is 25, then I am sorry to tell you that your GATE Score is not valid.
