I got 25225 rank in comedk. Will I get Mechanical engineering in SIT Tumkur at first round of comedk counselling itself?

You can easily get a seat in SIT Tumkur. The closing rank for mechanical engineering for general category students falls under 40K, as your rank is under 20K and even if you belong to general category then also you may get a chance to grab a seat only in the second round.
Talking about placements at SIT Tumkur, I will give full marks to thics college .The placement of this college is very very good. Most of the students get placed in the campus but here is also the condition if and only if the belongs to the software and circuit branch. one can get a salary package as high as 10 LPA.

Yeah I am GM and will I get mechanical engeneering in first round itself? I fear for 2nd round!!

There are very little chances for you to get ME branch in the first round. The cut-off changes every year so nothing can be said with surely.

Dear Aspirant,
Based on your rank and previous year's trends, you can get SIT Tumkur.
But in the first round, you can get the Industrial Engineering and Management course only.
But if you wait for the second round, you can get:-
- Electronics and Instrumentation
- Biotechnology
- Telecommunication
- Chemical
