Hello,

With 270 marks in the JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) in Soil Science, the chances of securing a seat in a government college depend on the overall cut-off, category, and competition that year. Generally, JRF cut-offs vary by institution and category, so it would be helpful to know your category and the specific colleges you are targeting.

If your score is close to the cut-off marks of previous years for your category, you might have a chance. However, if the competition is high, it could be challenging. Keep an eye on the official announcements for cut-offs and seat allocation.

Hope it helps !
