I got 291/300 in pcm in boards and 68/180 on pcm in kcet what will be my engineering ranking 2020 ?
Hello Aspirant,
KCET rank will be based on 50% pcm and 50% Kcet marks.
for example you scored 291/300 it means you scored 48.5 ((291/300)/2 *100)
and your kcet 68/180 means 18.888% .
total percentage 18.88+48.5=67.38
It means you may expect your rank Rank between 10k to 25k,
You don't worry ,It's not accuracy. Why because your rank is depended on your friends marks.
You will diffinately get a good college.
I hope this information will help you.
GOOD LUCK AND THANK YOU.
KCET is one of the entrance exam through which a local candidate of Karnataka can get admission in different stream like Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy in Government or private college of Karnataka.
But for getting admission in this, candidates must have passed with minimum 50% marks in the 2 nd PUC/12 th standard or equivalent exam to appear for the exam. Also, they must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as compulsory subjects in their secondary education.
As you have scored only 68 marks your rank must lies in the range of 6000 - 10000 ans your marks below 50% of the total marks ,So you have to more problems in getting admission because the minimum qualifying marks is about 50% . So I think you won't able to get admission in good college through this.
Good luck!
