All over India, there are only a total seats of 400-500 for this course. A rank of 1700-1800 will assure you a seat for BVSc in General merit. With a 94% in OCB, a score of 140+ is safe to get admission into BVSc.

With a rank of 29900 it is quite difficult to get a seat in a Government college in Karnataka, even with reservation.

The private veterinary colleges in Karnataka are:

1)Karnataka veterinary animal and fisheries sciences, Bidar, Karnataka: fee structure of 5.71 lakhs per year for BVSc.

2) Veterinary College, Shimoga, Karnataka: fee structure of 22k per year.

3)Veterinary College, Vidyanagar Hassan, Karnataka: fee structure of 24.5 k per year.
