Hello student. according to last year and the previous year cut off, a rank below 1500 will fetch you a seat in computer science or electronics and communication engineering.

Since the category is general and you have not specified any quota , there might be lesser chances for you to get branches like computer science etc. And the branch of computer science is a demanding one. Not just that branch, branches like electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering etc are sort of demanding branches.

You have the chances to get through the college,but branch wise it is not sure. Since every year cut off depends upon multiple factors such as the number of students writing the exam, the number of students attending the counselling so on and so forth, so it varies. Attend the counselling. you have the chances in round 2 or round 3 of counselling.

I suggest you to apply for other colleges to if you are specific about branches like computer science, ece etc.

Despite of such a good rank, I'm sorry to say that it is very tough to get CSE or ECE for you in Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam.

This is because the last year state cutoff rank for CSE branch was 931 and for ECE branch was 1362.

But you can get the below courses in Andhra University College of Engineering, Vishakhapatnam :-

•B.Tech Information Technology(last year cutoff rank was 9286)

•BE Metallurgical Engineering(last year cutoff rank was 7178)

•B.Tech Ceramic Technology(last year year cutoff rank was 6945)

•B.Tech Instrumentation Technology(last year cutoff rank was 6201)

•BE Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering(last year cutoff rank was 4862)

•B.Tech Chemical Engineering(last year state cutoff rank was 4030)

•B.Tech Petrochemical Engineering(last year cutoff rank was 3998)
