NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)

Hello aspirant,
As you have asked i want to inform you that at this marks it is very difficult for you to get MBBS seat in government college as cutoff goes way higher than your marks 339. There are following options left to you-:
- Take admission in private college but it's fees around 15 lakh to 17 lakh per annum + hostel and mess charges + personal expenses
- Take admission in deemed university through all india counselling but take a note it's fees goes around 25lakh to 27 lakh including everything.
- Do mbbs from out of india like from russia that will cost you less amount around 6 lakh to 8 lakh per annum including everything.
- And last option take drop it's kind of another chance for you to take addmission in mbbs degree so just work hard as much as you can and you can crack neet in next attempt i have self taken drop many time and finnaly have cracked the exam so if there is a will there is a way.
Hopefully i have answered you doubt.
Hello there,
Hope you are doing well. See, the cutoffs this year are expected to be somewhat similar to last year's or may increase marginally.
I'll mention the cutoff score for SC category through Karnataka state quota counselling in 2020 first .
It was a score of 521 with a closing AIR of 69,974 and the college allotted was Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences,Karwar .
Based on the above data ,your chances of getting a government medical college is nil.
If you strongly want a government medical seat and if you are thinking of preparing for NEET-2022 , please start it immediately as you only have 5-6 months time in hand . Try to increase your score to atleast 550+ .
I'll mention some points below which you should keep in mind while studying, you'll definitely do well then .
Stick to NCERTs whatsoever!(I can't stress this enough) ,specially for biology ,organic and inorganic chemistry. There's no need to do theory from anywhere else for these subjects/topics .
Practice ample no. of questions from standard practice books like MTG . Then revise it multiple times . Don't switch sources without completing the earlier .
Read and revise biology NCERT word to word and practice all diagrams ,flowcharts and tables as many times as you can .
Give ample no. of mock tests of standard coaching institutes in a time bound manner and make a mistake book in which you'll write all your mistakes while analysing the paper .
Also, do practise atleast the past 10 years question papers . That's going to be a boost to your preparation.
Don't get distracted ! For this time ,get rid of all your distraction .
Know about your body clock and have a proper sleep-wake cycle . Your health is of prime importance during the preparation. Also have proper and healthy meals regularly.
You can also join some online or offline classes for learning and strengthening concepts and topics .But always give your self-study the prime importance.
These are the main pointers that you should keep in mind . This should help you in cracking NEET, whichever year you are giving ,with flying colours .
Here I am providing you with a link through which you can get some very useful resources to aid in your preparation for NEET-2022 .
