Computer Science Engineering and Civil Engineering are branches that are very high in demand.  And because of this, the cut off marks needed or the ranked scored needs to be high especially for government colleges such as National Institutes of Technology or Indian Institutes of Technology. Since you have mentioned that you belong to EWS category you have better chances of getting into government colleges into these courses.

However, it might not be possible to get into top NITs like NIT Warangal or NIT Trichy. But you might be able to get into other lower ranked NITs such as NIT Agartala or NIT Pondicherry or Nit Delhi
