i got 366/500 marks in class 12 (up board ) 2019. can i prepare for jee advance.
Well you have secured above 70% in your UP board. Though I've not the list of top 20%ile of UP oard candidates but since UP board has quite low scoring as comparison to other boards.
So I can safely assume you must be in the top 20%ile list and hence you would shortlisted for JEE advanced provided you have qualified your JEE mains exam.
All the best
You can surely prepare for JEE Advanced examination but let me tell you class 12th marks are important as well as a candidate must have cleared JEE Mains examination also.
A person is not eligible for JEE Advanced if each of the criteria is not fullfilled.

You can give jEE main/advance even on passing class 12 but for admission in institute like NIT/IIT you need to to fulfill the eligibility criteria.

Hello,
You have to be first eligible for jee advanced in order to appear for it .
And with the marks you have scored you must have got around 73 % which is below the percentage which makes you eligible.
There are two criterias to be eligible and they are to get minimum 75% in 12 th or to be in top 20 percentile of your respective board.
So if you are in top 20 percentile of your respective board then you can prepare for jee advanced and appear for it next year.
