According to your result getting into a good NITs is still difficult. You still have a chance to again appears for the exams and try bit hard to score a decent score . For scoring good you can try to solve all the previous year papers this will help you to score good marks.

All I'll suggest you to apply for other universities entrance exams this will help you to get used to the exams and as well as will give wide opportunities too and give you chances to get into colleges like BITS, Pilani, VIT and other good colleges.

60%tile are also so good marks and you are also belonging to sc catagory  you can easily get any government college of your area and looking forward to nits it depend on cutoff of sc st catagory if the cutoff is less than 60 than you can get any nit but not from a good branch.
