Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then

in neet  2019, 570 marks for obc category was the lowest marks to get a bds seat in  government college   under bihar state quota and it was for Patna Dental College, Patna

So, you have low chances for government bds  colleges with 387 marks.

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-bihar

But yes

You have some chances for bds seat in private colleges under bihar state quota which are listed below :-

  • Buddha Institute of Dental Science & Hospital, Patna

  • Sarjug Dental College & Hospital, Laheriasarai

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year  due to   many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in   which you have to chances and

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

Hello Aspirant. You mentioned you belong to OBC-NCL category and want to know whether you have any chance to get a seat for BDS at government dental colleges with your expected marks.

If you secure 387 out of 720 then your overall percentile will be around 85.06 - 85.56 considering the difficulty of paper to be moderate while your AIR may end up around 229730 - 269880.

In order to get chance to grab a seat at government dental college via 15% All India Quota, a candidate is required to fetch 480+ marks. However, you may get an opportunity to get admission to BDS at good private dental colleges with 400 marks.

If you want to know more about the cutoff trend in Bihar then follow this article:
