ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

For taking admission in Osmania University, candidate must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• Nationality and Domicile

1. Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
2. Applicant must belongs to Telangana state only.
3. Candidates must satisfy Local and Non Local status.

• Educational Qualifications

1. Candidates should have passed B.SC, B.A equivalent examination will at least 40% in aggregate.
2. Candidates passing the Bachelors Degree examination with compartment are also eligible and secured at least 40% aggregate marks and pass in the qualifying exam for SC / ST.

• Age Limit

1. There is no age restriction for CET (Self Financing).
2. Age limit for obtaining a Fee Reimbursement for SC / ST and BC is 34 Years.
3. Age limit for EBC / Minorities / Disabled is 30 Years.

Osmania University offers various full-time and distance education courses at UG, PG, and research levels. The admission process generally begins in the month of April with the availability of application forms. The admissions are mainly granted on the basis of a common entrance test conducted by the Osmania University.

With this rank in TS EAMCET , you can expect a seat in Osmania university but not in core branches like mechanical , electrical , CSE etc because for getting a seat in core branches , your rank needs to be under 2k. You can get a seat in branches like biomechanical engineering
