If your rank is general rank and if u belong to OBC, then u can get Lower nits and iiit.

You  can get NIT DURGAPUR, and IIEST SHIBPUR  both two college is good .

Definitely you can get good NITs. My rank was near AIR39000, and I'm in NIT RAIPUR Pursuing  CIVILE Engineering. You even have quota, you may get IT here or any other college.

You can get nit college but branch is very important ,so during counceling branch preferance order is very important

You can get GFTI .. tell me your home state .. nit allocates seats based on the state quota..

Assam University(CSE) you can get it

Look,last year I have got 31000 all India rank and 7000 of OBC rank at present I am in IIIT sricity CSE branch ... If u r rank is 39000 in all India you will have chances to get but 39000 in OBC category  hopes are very low ....you can try for any other universities..

Your chances of getting a good NIT is very low. I will suggest you to go for northeastern NIT or GFTIs with branches  like civil engineering, mechanical engineering there. Just take the right decision. I hope you have got the point.

I believe you will get an NIT college.

As far as my experience, i studied in NIT Surathkal mining engg with AIR 116875 and OBC rank of 50009(or something in 50k) in way back 2012.

It also depends on home state and the competition increasing year by year. So this might affect sometimes.

But for analysing, consider my state OBC rank of 482 which for the same rank the earlier year(2011) person got Metallurgy branch, but in my 2012 year i got last branch(mining).

So if this helps considering we are in 2019, the deviation of ranks in obc you may get some non-circuit branches, but i suggest you to grab it.

Later in engineering you can study whichever you want and get placed irrespective of what branch you are in.

For getting admission in any nit  in India u should have to get  under 8000 rank for your cateogary whichever u belongs

For out ,you should attend jee advance exam and qualify with good rank bro

For getting iit  you should write jee advanced first and for 39000 rank in mains you can get an nit but not an branch of your choice .

In 2018 i got 4000 rank in jee advanced so i secured a seat in iit bhubaneswar ece branch.

Yes u will definitely get a seat in NIT ( but u have to wait till the last round and you have to accept the branch that u get .....u won't get the branch that u like ) ...

You should try for DTU, NSIT because you won't be getting any good NIT compared to this. You will have to apply separately through JAC.

Yes, you may get seat in IIIT colleges but I am not so sure that you will definitely get

According to your rank, chances would be less of getting a seat in NITs, IIITs through JoSAA Counselling. However, you can get a seat in Engineering colleges through other state counsellings.

You have good chances of getting a seat in B.Tech Computer Science Engineering, B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Tech Electrical Engineering in IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar through Punjab Engineering Admission.

You can use the JEE Main College Predictor Tool to check your other chances of admission in Engineering Colleges based on your JEE Main rank, Home State, Caste, Gender, etc-

My son was got over all rank 113616 in jeemain and he was allotted 33191 obc creamylayer rank in that kota My state was telangana.within which seat ccould allotted during councelling,G.Santhosh father of Suryateja.

You may get IIIT Ranchi

Last year I got 29000 rank in OBC and now I am in private.

Well chances are you may get admission in Some north eastern IIIts in spot round.And dont expect cse or it branch...

There is a possibility , u may try for home state seats reserved in  NITs or well known private institutions....like bit Mesra reserves it's seat for home state , students with higher rank even with 70000, get admission. But u have do it quickly right after the result.
