i got 3k rank in sc category of advanced jee can i get iit

Hi ravi ,
I regret to inform you that for a shortage of some marks you can get admission into any iits.
Even considering lower iits and with their lower branches like integrated msc courses though the maximum rank goes upto 2.5 k for sc category student.
Either you try to get admission into nits with your jee mains score or else take a year drop to get admission into reputed iits with your desired branch.

Congratualtions for bagging such a great rank to you . IITs release a cut-off marks which shows all the categories and the required ranks to get into respective branches of engineering. According to the previous year's ranks I can tentatively say that you can get a good IIT based on your rank but you may have to compromise on your branch.
