If you belong to general / obc / ews / sc category and you are getting 40 percentile score in jee mains, then have not qualified the jee mains and you can not get any nit or iiits.

But you can get some private or semi private colleges.

Now as you have given jee mains then you can sit in jossa counseling.

Now, never try to think that I will not get any seat so I will not take part in jossa 2020 counseling.
You must take part in jossa counseling. On 6th October get registered yourself.
Also the registration in jossa is free, this is not like csab where you have to pay a registration feea of rs.35000.

Try your luck at jossa counseling, don't skip jossa counseling.
If your luck will be great, then you can also get a seat ( but chances are very negligible ).

Last year (2019 ) for home state students the closing rank in round 7 jossa counseling reached more than 885000 rank for electrical and electronics engineering in nit mizoram.

So don't miss or skip the jossa counseling. Take part in it. If your luck is good then you can get a seat via jossa counseling.
