So since you got 40320 , your marks might be safely assumed to be between 28 and 35 . If your marks are higher than 35 then the chance would increase slightly.

The 2019 jee main cut offs for NITs category wise are

General  : 78.21

OBC : 74.31

SC : 54.01

ST : 44.33

But the 2018 cut off for SC was 29 . So as you can see this time the bar has been raised .

The qualifying marks for SC is 54 .01 this year . So if you have obtained a score below that then I guess you might probably not be able to get into  any NIT .

See ur rank in the JEE MAINS exam is too low for u to grab a seat in any of the good colleges like NITs IIITs or GFTIs for pursuing ur higher studies in the field of ur interest under the btech courses.
