Vellore Institute of Technology assigns the students into categories for Scholarship provision. That is basically, fee would be lesser for candidate who scores better in VITEEE. Scholarship Categories are as follows:-

Category1 : rank (1 to 20,000)

Category 2 : rank (20,001 to 40,000)

Category 3 : rank (40,001 to 65,000)

Category 4 : rank (65,001 to 99,999)

Category 5 : rank (1 lakh and above)



As you can observe from the above information that you belong to Category 3.

With a rank of about 40,000 you could get a seat at Vellore campus of Vellore Institute of Technology.

But not for the branches that are highly in demand like Computer Science Engineering and Electronics and Communication engineering.

May be for production and industrial engineering branch.

At Chennai campus you may get fashion technology.



For good branches, you must try for VIT Bhopal or VIT Amaravati as cutoffs there are lower.
