I got 42 percentile in jee mains 2019 and i belong to ST category. So can i get NIT or IIIT?

As for getting into an NIT's or IIIT's firstly your JEE mains marks are viewed. Now as you have achieved 42 percentile then this might not get you into any NIT's or in IIIT's in any desired branch. But your cast criteria might help you in getting into some good govt. Colleges but for that you may check the past year cut offs of your desired colleges which will provide you a better idea of your admission into them. Or with this score you can try getting into some good state college or may appear JEE mains again.

As per the previous year cutoffs and even if you are from ST category you have no chance of getting any NIT or IIIT or GFTI.
You can apply for state government colleges through State entrance exams and some private Colleges.
You should prefer to take a year drop for the preparations to score good next year to get good NIT or IIIT or IITs.
