Hi,
The tancet exam eligibility criteria say that
Candidate with valid gate mark do not need to apply for tancet exam, can apply for admission directly. Generally the competition will be very high and those with marks above 50 plus can get admission easily.
As you have score only average marks in gate. It is better to give tancet. You will having high probability to get admission if you scored more in tancet

Hi,
For Anna university ceg campus tancet cuttoff was 60 plus last year. For gate candidate with your mark you have high chance .but the final admission depends on this year cuttoff and performance.
